Kalamata olives

Kalamata or Kalamon is a Greek olive variety that is considered one of the most prestigious olive varieties in the world. These olives are always allowed to ripen dark before picking. Kalamata olives are oval in shape, naturally dark in colour, almost purple, and very tasty. Olives that ripen dark on the tree are softer than green olives and therefore usually served as whole, not pitted.

Use Kalamata olives in salads, baking and all cooking or simply serve as a snack with herbs and olive oil.
