Feta cheese is made from sheep’s or sheep’s and goat’s milk. Original feta is recognizable by its strong, wonderfully salty taste, as well as its pure white colour and soft composition that melts in your mouth. Feta is protected by the European Union (PDO), which means that only genuine feta made in Greece and produced in accordance with quality standards can be called feta.
